The Pink Bourbon coffee variety, planted in 2019, was carefully chosen to match the farm's soil and climate conditions, reflecting a commitment to varietal diversity and innovation in processing methods.
In partnership with a family La Playita has worked with for over seven years, we've made significant investments in infrastructure and sustainable farming practices. Nutrient inputs come from organic sources such as compost and Bocachi. Harvesting is done by hand, with precise timing to optimize flavor, followed by meticulous sorting and controlled fermentation.
Our drying process balances sun and shade exposure to preserve bean integrity, and each microlot is milled to EP-8-35 standards before being packaged in 70 kg Grain Pro and yute bags.
