This exceptional Kenyan coffee is sourced from small holders and single family farms in Nyeri County, Kamoini. Those involved in the harvest bring their fruit from the southeastern slopes of the Aberdares mountain range. Most families grow their specialty crop on half acre lots, some among Banana and Macadamia trees. The fruit is fully washed at the Kamoini factory which has been in operation since 1987. The seeds are dried on raised beds and packed in grain pro for shipment. This beautiful coffee shines with lemon acidity and finishes with sweet caramel and malt notes.
